HandiTax - Lodgment connection freezes when using Access ATO Gateway

The ATO is experiencing lodgment issues with Tax Agents using the Access ATO Gateway feature.

Temporarily switch to the ATO Authentication method:

  1. Go to Lodgment, Set ATO Credentials

2. Change the selection to ATO Credential Authentication

3. Enter your Keystore Password, click Ok.

4. Restart HandiTax.

5. Switch the option back to Access ATO Gateway at a later time.


If, after switching authentication methods, you receive a message advising your Machine Credential has expired, please see this article Error: 'Certificate for credentials..is now expired' or 'Credential is ready for renewal'
