When resetting your machine credential, you will get the message, For this Machine Credential to be applied, please restart HandiTax, and you are required to exit out of HandiTax for the changes to be applied.
Log in to HandiTax and go to Lodgment, Set ATO Credentials.
Browse for KeyStore file, click the ellipse button, highlight your KeyStore file and click Open.
From the drop-down arrow and select the relevant credential.
Enter the KeyStore Password.
Click Ok.
For this Machine Credential to be applied, please restart HandiTax.
Click Ok.
Close out of HandiTax.
Log back in to HandiTax.
Do not return to the Set ATO Credentials window; rather, lodge or prefill the return for your client.
