Upon opening Document Manager, if the following error occurs, List index out of bounds (-1), and the client folders are missing, a rebuild is recommended. Where possible and to avoid downtime, consider running the rebuild directly on the server after hours, as users are required to exit all HandiSoft programs during this process.
Note: Rebuilds are not available in the SQL version.
Before running the rebuild, ensure you have a recent working backup.
Have one user log in to Practice Manager Contact.
Go to Tools, Rebuild the Databases.
Select:
Document Manager Database.
Options and Macros.
Click Rebuild.
Once completed, log out and log back in.
Open Document Manager (F10), if not resolved, continue with the steps below.
Go to Options, General.
Under the Columns to Show, select Default, then OK.
Close Document Manager and re-open.
