The process to create a shortcut of your program icons on the desktop of the local computer is as follows:
All users are to close all HandiSoft programs.
Go to File Explorer and open the HSoft\Apps folder on the server (if networked) or the local drive the program has been installed on (if a single user).
Sort the files by Type.
Under the Type column, scroll down to the Applications.
Locate and right-click on the program you require the icon to appear on your desktop (for example, HandiTax 2026 will be Ht26.exe for ODB and Ht26Sql.exe for SQL).
Go to Send to, Desktop (create shortcut).
Locate the shortcut on the desktop, right-click and select Rename to adjust the shortcut name if required.
