HandiLedger does not support transferring livestock quantities between classes. Livestock classification in the program is based on animal type, not age. For example, whether a Hogget or a Lamb, they are all recorded as Sheep.
Because the system is designed for different animal types rather than age groups, there are no separate stock accounts for age categories. This means there is no movement between accounts for age changes.
Stock adjustments occur only through the following transactions:
Decrease: Sale or death.
Increase: Breeding or purchase.
Transfers are not available because these changes are reflected in other accounts, such as sales and bank.
