The Master Tax Codes have been set up to post the applicable amounts to certain items on the BAS and the tax portion to certain account numbers.
To view the posting account numbers
Go to View, Chart of Accounts.
In the Chart of Accounts window, click Tools.
In the Select a process window, click Edit Master Tax Codes.
On the Master Tax Codes window, highlight the applicable Tax Code then click View.
On the View Tax Code Details window, you will see the relevant information.
