You can account for transactions with a private portion for BAS purposes in HandiLedger.

Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity and applicable year.

Go to Input, Journal Entries. Account for the Expense journal entry:

- Debit: Expense account using the INP tax code.
- Credit: Bank account. 

- Debit: Drawings account for the private portion amount using the POA tax code.
- Credit: Expenses account for the private portion amount using the INP tax code.

1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity and applicable year.
2. Go to Input, Journal Entries. Account for the Expense journal entry:
 - Debit: Expense account using the INP tax code.
 - Credit: Bank account. 
3. Journal the private portion out:
 - Debit: Drawings account for the private portion amount using the POA tax code.
 - Credit: Expenses account for the private portion amount using the INP tax code.
4. Save, Close and Post the transaction.
