MYOB changed the way its program exports data. MYOB includes a Tax code called N-T. This is not a tax code within HandiLedger.
N-T cannot be added as a tax code in HandiLedger due to the "-" being recognised as an invalid character.
Add a tax code
For the ASCII import to process correctly, a new tax code is required.
Log in to HandiLedger, then go to View, Chart of Accounts.
Click the Tools button, then click Edit master tax codes.
Click New and enter a tax code = NT.
Complete the Add a Tax Code window, then click OK.
Open and edit your Excel document (CSV) to replace all occurrences of N-T to NT.
Save your updated CSV file, then use HandiLedger to import your ASCII file.
