HandiTax - Could not find a part of the path in HandiTax

All users exit all HandiSoft applications.

Navigate to File Explorer.

Go to the HSoft/Apps folder, search the Apps folder for temp.config. If you find a file called temp.config, delete this file.

If you are using the ODB version, in the HSoft/Apps folder, locate the file called HT1*exe.config where * denotes the year, e.g. example Ht20.exe.config. Delete or rename this file.

If you are using the SQL version, the file will be called HT1*SQL.exe.config. where * denotes the year e.g. Ht20SQL.exe.config. Rename this file.

In the HSoft/Apps folder, look for a file called HT**exe.temp where ** denotes the year, e.g. example Ht20.exe.config. If this file exists, rename this file by adding the date to the end of the filename.

Launch the application e.g. Ht20.exe.

Lodge a return to test if the error is resolved.
