In HandiLedger, Control Account headings for sub accounts will only appear in reports like the Trial Balance or Detailed Profit and Loss Statement if the Show Control Account headings checkbox is ticked under the Sub Accounts tab.
This feature is useful for:
Improving report clarity by grouping sub-accounts under their control accounts.
Making financial reviews easier for accountants or auditors.
Customising reports depending on whether you want a summarised or detailed view.
This setting can also be found under Options, Report, Sub Accounts.
Note: The Detailed Balance Sheet itemises the sub-account items; however will not display the Control Account headings.
