Time+Billing - Could not find debtor's transaction after deleting an invoice in Time+Billing

If this happens, raise a new case so the Support team can help resolve the error. HandiSoft Support will give you a one-time password to validate the client and remove the discount.

The steps below are ONLY for doing 1 client at a time. Ensure you have a working backup.

  1. Log in to Time+Billing.

  2. Tag and Select the Client.

  3. Go to Tools, Validate Data, and enter the validation code supplied by HandiSoft Support. The code is only valid for the requested day.

  4. Ensure the selected Client is correct, select Simple Validate and tick Automatically repair errors without prompting, then OK.

  5. Review and close the report.

  6. If you are not sure, check if you are on the ODB or SQL version before proceeding to the next step.

  7. ODB - Go to Tools, Recalculate interim balances, click the ellipsis, then choose the filter for Tagged Clients and click Select then OK.
    ​SQL - Go to Tools, Recalculate interim balances, choose Selected, and click OK.

  8. ODB - Go to Tools, Recalculate Client Summaries, click the ellipsis then select the filter for Tagged Clients, then OK.
    ​SQL - Go to Tools, Recalculate Client Summaries, click the ellipsis then select the filter for Tagged Clients, then OK.

  9. Check the client's details to confirm if the Validation has removed the discount.
