Emailing Invoices in Time+Billing

Set up the standard text for emails

  1. Log in to Time+Billing.

  2. From the Options menu, click Invoice Email Text.

  3. In the Invoice Email Text window, click New.

  4. In the Invoice Email Text Details window, complete the details as required.

Note: Mail Merge fields can be added, and different text for Individual and Non-Individuals can be created.

Emailing an Invoice

An invoice can be emailed to a client in the following manner:

  1. Log in to Time+Billing.

  2. From the Input menu, click Invoice (WIP).

  3. In the Prepare an Invoice for... window, under the Invoice Summary tab, select Email Invoice and complete the Email Address and Email Text Message fields. Note: If default email text and addresses have been set up, they will prefill.

  4. Complete the Invoice in the usual manner.

  5. On completion, click Post + Email.

Note: Posted Invoices can be subsequently emailed using the Batch Send Invoices functionality.

Batch email Invoices

  1. Log in to Time+Billing.

  2. From the View menu, click Invoices (Finalised).

  3. In the Invoices window, Tag the invoices to be emailed to the clients or tick Tag all Unsent.

  4. Click Batch.

  5. In the Batch send invoices window, complete your invoice selection, Batch Tagged Invoices, or Specify Batch Details.

  6. Click OK.
