How do I process a client receipt?

In HandiTrust, to process a monetary amount received from your client into your trust bank account you will need to process a Client Receipt.

  1. Go to Input, Client Receipt.

  2. Complete the Client Receipt window as required, then click Save.


This will result in a transaction being recorded onto the client trust card (increasing it) and this will also increase the balance of the firm trust card.

Once the money is moved out of the client trust card, by way of, for example, a Client Payment, then this will reduce the client trust card and your firm trust card.
