If the non-refundable tax offset or Medicare Levy in the Estimate Schedule is incorrect. The fields may alter the estimate if filled incorrectly or not filled in. Review the following in HandiTax:
In the Tax Form Details window, check the Start and End date of the Tax Return.
Check for any manual entries in the Tax Estimate.
Go to the ATO website and review their calculators to compare.
Check any schedules such as the Super Lump Sum Schedule for fields that may need to be filled in such as Low rate amounts received in prior years for the Superannuation low-rate cap details for taxed elements.
