HandiTax - SBR postal address errors in HandiTax

To resolve the common address errors in a tax return please check the following items:

  • Ensure the client address has been entered on the Cover page of the return (An international address will require the country code, press F5 for available list).

  • Go to Options, Front Cover Defaults and check if Address has been ticked. If so, it means the Postal address on this window will show on the tax returns. If there is no address listed in this window, it will cause errors to appear.

  • View the Clients Tax Form Details window for this return. Has Fee From Refund been ticked? If so, this means its trying to put the address from the Front Cover Defaults window on the return. If the Front Cover Defaults address is blank, it will generate errors.
