Warning messages alert you to possible issues in the income tax return that may need correction. Unlike SBR or prior year validation errors, they won't stop lodgement's as they are only a warning. Most warnings are provided by the ATO for software implementation. Some cannot be cleared due to their nature, but they don’t need to be resolved to lodge. HandiTax allows you to exclude these warnings when printing the tax return for clients.
Log in to HandiTax.
From the Options menu, click Tax Form Options.
Untick the Print Warnings check box.
Note: Warnings will always appear in the Error Navigator. This feature only stops them from being printed with the tax return.
