In 2024, the ATO introduced the Trust and Partnership Income schedules that transfer data to item 13 within an individual tax return. From HandiTax 2024, data cannot be entered directly into item 13, rather, data is required to be entered into the schedules. This is also the case for the Share of National rental affordability scheme tax offset at Item 13, label B. This field is required to be prefilled via a Trust or Partnership Income schedule, at label I.
Open HandiTax 2024, locate your client then Select the I Form.
From the Tax Return Outline, locate the Partnership Income Schedule, then click Edit.
Enter the data required, then click Save, then Close.
4. Highlight the Main Form I then click Edit.
5. Navigate to item 13 and check the correct data has transferred.
