HandiTax - IITR.800005 Australian superannuation income stream payment summary amounts must be provided in HandiTax

Updated over a month ago

If a positive Superannuation income stream Tax withheld amount or an assessable amount from a capped defined benefit income stream is present, then at least one of the following fields must also have a positive value:

  • Superannuation income stream taxable component taxed element

  • Superannuation income stream taxable component untaxed element

  • Superannuation income stream tax-free component

  • Superannuation income stream lump sum in arrears taxable component taxed element

  • Superannuation income stream lump sum in arrears taxable component untaxed element

  • Superannuation income stream lump sum in arrears tax-free component

The ATO’s SBR validation requires all relevant taxed, untaxed, or tax-free fields to be populated when tax withheld or capped defined benefit amounts exist.

To resolve:

  • Review the Annuities/Superannuation Income Streams schedule.

  • Ensure no required fields are blank.

  • Remove any zeros that were incorrectly entered.

If you need further clarification, contact the ATO for guidance.
