HandiTax - SBR log files in HandiTax

You can create and upload your SBR log files for review when requested by a support analyst.

  1. All users are to close all HandiTax programs.

  2. Go to File Explorer, HSoft/Apps/SBR/Logs folder on the computer you lodge from.

  3. Delete the contents of the log folder (it's ok if a few files cannot delete).

  4. Open HandiTax in the year you are trying to lodge the tax return.

  5. Lodge the tax return.

  6. If the lodgment fails, from the Tools menu, select Save SBR Log Files.

  7. If the Save SBR log file option is greyed-out, navigate back to the HSoft/Apps/SBR/Logs folder in File Explorer.

  8. Log in to your Customer Success Portal and click on your case.

  9. Click on Upload.

  10. Attach the log files to your case and leave a comment for your support analyst to notify them.
