HandiLedger - Adjust Creditor bills in HandiLedger

You can access the bill maintenance facilities as follows:

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity.

  2. Go to Creditors, Bills Received to open the Bills Received window.

  3. Highlight the bill to be maintained and click the required button.

Tip: For information on the Bills Received window, press F1 to display the online help.

Record a bill adjustment

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity.

  2. Go to Creditors, Bill Adjustment to open the Bill Adjustments window.

  3. Click New to open the Creditor Adjustment window.

  4. Under Adjustment Type, select the type of bill adjustment to be done.

  5. In the Creditor field, type the reference for the creditor or click the ellipsis to select the creditor from the Select Vendor window.

  6. In the Bill field, type the number of the bill to be adjusted, or click the ellipsis to select the bill from the Select a Bill to Adjust window.

  7. Complete the fields on the Creditor Adjustment window.

  8. Click Save to save the adjustment.

  9. Click Post to post the adjustment.

  10. Click Post to post the adjustment.

  11. If you have saved information without posting it, you will be asked if you want to post it now. Click OK to post the adjustment. The adjustment will show up as a transaction in HandiLedger or HandiBiz.

Note: You can only make one adjustment per bill.

View bill adjustments

You can view all the bill adjustments that have been made:

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity.

  2. Go to Creditors, Bill Adjustment. The Bill Adjustments window will open.

  3. You can edit, delete and create new bill adjustments as required.

  4. Click Close to exit the Bill Adjustments window.
