HandiLedger - Financial statement missing account number or description in HandiLedger

To resolve an issue where the financial report has an entry with a value but with no account number or description in HandiLedger:

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select the Entity and the year with the issue.

  2. Go to Tools, Verify Accounts.

  3. Click Start.

  4. When it displays Verify completed, click Close.

  5. Go to Financials and select the required report again, and see if the account number also displays the Description.

If the description shows question marks, close the report and follow the steps below:

  1. Go to View, Chart of Accounts.

  2. Locate the account with the question marks.

  3. Click Edit, and replace the question marks with the correct description, then click Save and Close.
