HandiLedger helps speed up data entry by remembering previously entered descriptions in the Cash Receipts, Cash Payments, and Journal windows.
You can view and manage all saved text fill entries through the Automatic Text Fill Descriptions window.
Access and manage entries
Log in to HandiLedger.
Go to the View menu and select Automatic Text Fill Descriptions.
In the window that opens, click the Receipts, Payments, or Journal tab to view entries for each type.
To delete an entry, highlight the unwanted description, then click Delete.
Click OK on the confirmation window.
Click Close to exit the window.
Process a receipt, payment or journal from the View menu.
When you begin typing in a Description field, HandiLedger will automatically suggest a previously used entry that matches the characters you've typed.
Press Enter to accept the suggestion, or continue typing to enter a new description.
Save and post the transaction as required.
