This error can also occur if required fields in the Business Worksheet are incomplete. To resolve it:
Check that “Is this a Main Business Y/N” is filled in within the business worksheet.
Make sure the ATO Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) code is entered.
In the tax return:
At Item P2 Label A, include the Industry Code.
At Item P3, enter the number of business activities.
Once these fields are completed correctly, the error should clear.
