You can easily move assets entered in an incorrect schedule.
Duplicate assets
Log in to HandiLedger, then select the entity and year required.
Go to View, Depreciation Schedule.
In the required schedule, locate the Asset, then click View.
Starting with the first Asset, click the Duplicate button. Ensure there is a:
Year
Total Cost and
Depreciation rate (Percentage)
Once all required assets are duplicated, verify if there is any missing data, and if required, go back and remove/delete the original assets.
Click on Schedule, Report, then Ok to run your depreciation report.
Note: If you require HandiLedger to calculate and journal the depreciation for you, ensure the option for Auto Journal depreciation is ticked in the Entity details window, and that you have the accounts for depreciation and accumulated depreciation set in each schedule within the depreciation worksheet.
