HandiAsset provides a simple conversion of depreciation schedules in HandiLedger.
Important:
After converting assets to HandiAsset, depreciation information will no longer be accessible from HandiLedger.
This is a one-way conversion. The depreciation schedules in HandiAsset cannot transfer back to HandiLedger.
In HandiAsset, select the entity to convert. The HandiLedger depreciation schedule conversion window should appear. Click OK. If the conversion window does not appear, this process can also be run from Tools, Convert HandiLedger (Windows) depreciation schedules.
Map the HandiLedger depreciation schedule names to those in HandiAsset, then click Close.
Select the asset classification groups for the entity, then click OK.
Edit the classification information as necessary, then click OK.
Enter the HandiLedger posting information, and click Close.
Click Finish.
