HandiSoft - Path does not exist, verify the path is correct when sending emails from HandiSoft

Sending emails from Outlook in HandiSoft.

The error "Path does not exist. Verify the path is correct" typically occurs due to a broken image or graphic in the Outlook email signature linked to an inaccessible file path. To resolve this issue, you will need to remove and reformat the graphics in the Outlook signature.

Remove and Reformat the Outlook Signature

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook on the affected computer.

  2. Navigate to File, Options, Mail, Signatures.

  3. Select your default signature.

  4. Remove any images, logos, or graphics from the signature.

  5. Re-insert the image using the Insert Image button (avoid copying and pasting the image).

  6. Save the signature and attempt to send the email again.

Additional Tips

  • Save the signature image locally on the affected computer before inserting it.

  • If signatures are deployed via Group Policy, ensure the image path is accessible from the machine.

  • As a last resort, create a new Outlook profile on the affected computer and set up the signature again.
