HandiTax - Client update form being rejected for a family trust in HandiTax

When completing the client update forms for the trust, users must include The Trustee For in the Trust name, however after lodging the Client Update (CU) form, remove The Trustee For from the client details. You can then complete the tax form.

  1. Log in to HandiTax.

  2. Highlight the Trust and select Edit.

  3. From the Clients Detail window edit the name to include The Trustee For.

  4. Click Save, Close.

  5. Complete and Lodge the Client Update (CU) form.

  6. When it has been lodged and accepted click Edit to open the Clients Detail window again.

  7. Delete The Trustee For wording.

  8. Click Save, Close.
