Practice Manager Contact - How to create a filter based on a Category Extra field

To create a filter based on a Category Extra field in Practice Manager Contact, see below steps:

  1. Go to Reports, Filters

  2. Press the Find button, type in Category then click Ok

  3. Highlight the filter that shows 'Category 25 is set' then press Copy

  4. Provide a new name for the filter eg. 'Category 9 is Set' then click Ok

  5. Click on Edit

  6. In the Expression box, change the number to the required number. eg. change Category25@Clients to Category9@Clients then press Save, Close


You can now run any report to combine with the Filter, eg. in Practice Manager Contact go to Reports, Clients, Clients List Abbreviated.

When prompted with the Filter Expression pop-up box, you can press the ellipsis button [...] and choose the filter eg. 'Category 9' then click Select, Ok.
