HandiTax - Add item notes on the client's tax return in HandiTax

Add notes to the client's tax return:

  1. Log in to HandiTax and Select the tax return.

  2. Navigate to the item you want to enter a note.

  3. Click Notes on the bottom menu bar of the tax return.

  4. In the Item Notes window, type your note and then click Save.

  5. An icon will appear at the left of the item to indicate a note is linked to that item.

  6. You can double-click this icon to open and view the note.

Notes:

  • The notes attached to the return will print out at the end of the Worksheet copy. These notes are not lodged with the ATO.

  • Notes can be rolled over to the next year.
