Lodging ELS returns in Access HandiTax involves using the SBR (Standard Business Reporting) service since the ELS (Electronic Lodgment Service) mechanism was replaced in 2015. If you attempt to proceed past the Lodgment Details window, you will receive an error.
When you lodge in HandiTax 2014 and prior, the Lodgment Details window displays Ready to Lodge in blue text. This tells you that your ELS files have been created and are ready for you to lodge using your latest version of HandiTax.
To lodge tax returns before 2015, you must:
