HandiTax - Adjustable taxable income (ATI) for deceased persons in HandiTax

Updated this week

In HandiTax, the year start and year end dates for the return need to reflect the whole financial year, these dates are not to be edited to show the date of death. Including the date of death in the tax return end date will result in the following SBR error: IITR.024015: Adjusted taxable income is incorrect.

Client's Tax Form Details window

The ATI amount is automatically adjusted and calculated in the tax return according to the ATO, please use the following link for further information: Adjusted taxable income (ATI) for you and your dependants (Completing a tax return for a deceased person).
