Where a user has set up an entity in HandiLedger and entered data with a different reference code than HandiTax, you will need to duplicate an entity reference to match HandiTax client reference.
Note: Before running the process below, ensure the client reference in HandiLedger does not exist in other modules, or the HandiTax reference does not exist in HandiLedger.
Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity.
Go to Tools, then select Duplicate Selected Entity.
Enter the reference used for the client in the HandiTax module.
Click Ok.
This will then create an exact copy of the Ledger data under the new reference code.
You can then delete the incorrect reference.
