The cover page settings in HandiLedger are used to control the appearance of the front cover of the Complete Report and the company details for the Compilation Report.
Cover Page
Log in to HandiLedger then go to the Options menu, click Cover Page.
Where your company details are to appear on the cover, complete the required details and ensure that the Show company details checkbox is selected.
Format the cover page
To adjust the position of items on the front cover of your Complete Report:
If you have selected the Show company details checkbox, you can select Hide Company Name to exclude the company name from the folder if you are using a Graphic file. You might do this if the logo already has the company name.
Click Edit to open the Cover Page Designer window.
Use the Client Box, Company Box and Graphic Box menu items to specify the Font Style, Text Alignment and Border requirements.
Use your mouse to 'drag and drop' the Company Box, Client Box and Graphic Box to the required locations on the 'page'.
Once your alterations have been made, click Print Preview to check the appearance of the front cover.
When you are happy with the changes, click OK.
Graphic Box
The Company box contains the graphic image you specified in the Graphic file field. This menu is only available if you selected the Show graphic checkbox.
Select Stretched if you want the image to be resized to fit into the Graphic box. HandiLedger will crop the Graphic box to enable the image to retain its aspect ratio.
If you do not select Stretched, HandiLedger will crop the image to fit into the Graphic box.
Note: If your image file is located on a network server, you must use the Universal Naming Convention (UNC) rather than a mapped drive. For example, ‘\\servername\pathname\image.jpg’ should be used instead of ‘M:\pathname\image.jpg’. This is to ensure that the image is included in reports accessed via HandiSoft Connect. You must also ensure that your HandiSoft Connect users have access to the image file location.
Titles
To edit the layout of how your client's name, entity name, and ABN display on the front page:
Log in to HandiLedger and select your entity.
Go to Options, then click Report.
On the Titles tab, select the text for whose name to display on each line.
Choose Set as default if these settings are to be applied to each entity.
Click Ok when complete.
