The machine credential must be created in the ATO's Authorisation Manager and uploaded to HandiTax every two years. HandiTax does not have the functionality to renew your machine credential automatically.
Tip: During the machine credential download in Authorisation Manager, note the path it is being downloaded to, so you can easily link it in HandiTax.
